    How It Works

One queue, one order of priority

Assessments come in from across your member agencies and land in a shared request queue. Match filters surface the openings a household qualifies for, generated for you and always overridable by your staff, with the original kept so you can see what was changed and why. VI-SPDAT ships as a scored template, and its total lands a household in no intervention, rapid re-housing or permanent supportive housing — which is the prioritization decision itself, not a number someone still has to interpret. Any other instrument your community prefers can be built and scored the same way.

Bed availability the whole continuum can see

Member shelters choose whether their facilities are private to them or visible across the network. When they publish, the whole continuum sees what is genuinely open tonight instead of calling around at 9pm. Bed requests carry household size, special needs and referral source, and are fulfilled or denied with the reason recorded, so the turn-away number in your annual report is a byproduct of the work, not a reconstruction.

Sharing that survives a monitoring visit

A record only crosses between agencies when the household has consented, using a release-of-information form your network sets once, with an expiry date. The sending agency chooses field by field what travels. Access is granted and revoked per member organization centrally, and changes to beds, enrollments and placements are held in an audit trail, which is what a monitoring visit asks to see.

Report to HUD without a reconstruction project

Entry and exit forms are composed for the HUD project type a program runs, so the right data elements are collected at the right moment. Export in HUD-compliant CSV with CoC codes and client hashing handled. Bed nights are recorded per night. Housing retention is the measure your CoC is graded on, so retention checks are scheduled with due dates and reminders.

Built around how a continuum works

The coordinated entry workflow runs end to end here — assessment, prioritization, referral, placement and retention — as the way the system works rather than as a separate module you configure alongside everything else. Your assessments, your prioritization, your referrals and your placements are one connected record, which is why a household's score can lead to a bed and the outcome comes back to the same file. Bring us your community's process and we will show you how it maps.
