The True Charity Network is the membership arm of True Charity, which grew out of Watered Gardens Ministries, the Joplin, Missouri mission James and Marsha Whitford opened in 2000. The network launched in September 2020 and emphasizes dignity-centered approaches that move people toward self-sufficiency.
True Charity provides training resources, a framework for evaluating whether charitable interventions genuinely help, discounted access to resource partners, and an annual summit for nonprofit staff, church leaders, donors, and policy leaders.
