Christian Community Development Association
A national network of practitioners, churches, and nonprofits doing faith-based community development.
The Christian Community Development Association (CCDA) is a national network of practitioners, churches, and nonprofits committed to community transformation through faith-based community development. Co-founded in 1989 by Dr. John M. Perkins and a group of Christian leaders, CCDA is grounded in the eight key components of Christian Community Development, beginning with Perkins's original three R's — relocation, reconciliation, and redistribution.
CCDA convenes the network at an annual National Conference, and supports members through training and regional connections.

How Neighbor Solutions can help
CCDA organizations tend to combine direct service — food distribution, after-school programs, job training, housing repair — with organizing and spiritual formation. Neighbor Solutions tracks families across those programs without flattening the relational approach the work depends on.
